A very warm welcome to
the Rathmell Village News. This totally independent
site is managed by volunteers and serves only the parish
of Rathmell. It will be of interest to all people who
live in the parish, those whose ancestors came from
the village, and hopefully our many visitors.
Our website contains news, photos of
the parish, forthcoming events, historical features,
village organisations, local businesses and the local
Primary School. The village of Rathmell is located approx
3 miles south of Settle in Ribblesdale within the Craven
District of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated
only a few miles from the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
